To Study the Influence of Discordance Between Clinical Staging and Pathological Analysis in Cervical Agnecology Carcinoma

Objective

To study the influence of discordance between clinical staging and pathological analysis in cervical carcinoma.

Methods

68 cases of cervical carcinoma in our department were compared the clinical staging and pathological analysis, and analyze its influence on the surgery.

Results

20 of the 68 cases showed difference between clinical staging and pathological analysis, all of them were internal growth pattern and the pathological analysis was worse than clinical staging. The operation time, bleeding, urine retention rate and hospitalized time were all increased.

Conclusion

Discordance of clinical staging and pathological analysis of cervical carcinoma do influence the surgery.
