新生儿惊厥(neonatal seizures)是一种新生儿神经系统急症,可导致个体脑部损伤及大脑神经发育障碍。导致新生儿惊厥的病因复杂,临床表现多样,脑电图(EEG)在新生儿惊厥诊断及治疗效果监测中具有不可替代的作用。近年随着医疗技术的发展,尤其是长程EEG监测及振幅整合EEG对新生儿惊厥的诊治新观点的提出,并广泛应用于新生儿惊厥的诊治中,使临床对新生儿惊厥的诊治有张足进步。笔者拟综合阐述EEG在新生儿惊厥诊治中的运用,并探讨EEG在鉴别诊断该病时存在的局限及导致该局限的原因。

Neonatal convulsion is a neurological emergency disease. Electroencephalogram(EEG) monitoring of neonates with neurologic abnormalities can detect many electrographic seizures that are not clinically identifiable in such infants. We reviewe the application of EEG, especially long-term EEG monitoring and amplitude integrated EEG, in diagnosis and treatment of neonatal convulsion, and discuss the distinction between electrographic seizures and clinical seizures/movements.
