Application of Self-assist Inject Instrument for Gynecology in the Hysterosalpingography

Objective

To discuss the feasibility and security of using the latest self-assist inject instrument in the hysterosalpingography, and compare the effect with the manual injection.

Methods

From January 2011 to December 2012, a total of 270 women with infertility were carried out hysterosalpingography with the latest self-assist inject instrument. The study protocol was approved by the Ethical Review Board of Investigation in Human Beings of Anqing Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University. Informed consent was obtained from each participating patient.

Results

Real-time images were obtained successfully from all 270 cases.

Conclusions

The latest self-assist inject instrument used in hysterosalpingography is easily accepted by the patients,easily to manage,and operator without being exposure in radiation during the operation, which has simple structure and low cost, is worth being applied clinically.
