Under normal physiological conditions, there are complex and diverse types of microorganisms in the body, forming a dynamic and balanced micro-ecosystem. Female reproductive system communicates with the outside world through vaginal orifice. Colonized microorganisms in reproductive tract participate in regulating the physiological and pathological processes of homeostasis, metabolism, inflammation and immune defense in reproductive tract, whose abnormal microbiota composition (type or quantity) may closely related to female infertility-related diseases. The author intends to elaborate on the latest research progress in reproductive tract microorganism abnormalities in female infertility-related diseases, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), chronic endometritis (CE), endometriosis (EMS) and adenomyosis, aiming to provide new ideas for the clinical mechanism, diagnosis and treatment of female infertility-related diseases.
