Objective

To analysis the curative effects of low molecular weight heparin and salvia miltiorrhiza on early onset severe preeclampsia.

Methods

From June 2010 to December 2011, 75 women with early onset severe preeclampsia were included in the study, and divided into group A(n=18, routine treatment), group B(n=20, routine treatment + low molecular weight heparin), group C(n=19, routine treatment + salvia)and group D(n=18, routine treatment+ low molecular weight heparin+ salvia). The study protocol was approved by the Ethical Review Board of Investigation in Human Being of Chongqing Three Gorges Central Hospital.Informed consent was obtained from each patients.

Results

There were significant differences in the postpartum 7 d hospital discharge rate, incidence of elevated liver enzymes and hypoproteinemia between group A and the other groups(P<0.05). The prolong average gestational age and birth weight in group D was obviously higher than that of the other groups.

Conclusions

Low molecular weight heparin combined with salvia on early onset severe preeclampsia contributes to the improvement of materno-fetal outcomes.
