Towards a new understanding of cervical glandular epithelial lesions: pathological perspectives

In May 2014, World Health Organization (WHO) released WHO (2014) Classification of Tumor of the Female Reproductive Organs. According to the classification of tumors precursor lesion of cervical adenocarcinoma of female reproductive system in WHO (2014) Classification of Tumor of the Female Reproductive Organs, and the latest fundamental research progress of human papillomavirus (HPV) new developments, historical perspectives and controversial issues about the cervical glandular epithelial precursors will be presented.
