Study Progress on the Relationship of Hysterectomy and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) is caused by various etiology, which could be weaken the pelvic floor supporting tissues, and shift the pelvic organs triggered a chain reaction, the location and dysfunction of other pelvic organs. Hysterectomy is frequently used in the treatment of benign uterine disease. The damage of pelvic floor associated with the operation could cause pelvic floor dysfunction, which lead to pelvic floor dysfunction disease. In this study, we focus on the relationship between hysterectomy and female pelvic floor dysfunction disease.
