Observation of effect on interventional treatment for ectopic pregnancy guided by ultrasound

Objective

To observe the effect on interventional treatment for ectopic pregnancy guided by ultrasound.

Methods

Select 60 cases of ectopic pregnancy which fit for conservative treatment. They were divided into 2 groups randomly. Group A were given interventional treatment with ultrasound, group B were given MTX intramuscularly.

Results

28 cases of group A were succeeded, and the successful rate was 93.3%, the rest 2 cases accepted operation. In group B, 20 cases were succeeded and the successful rate was 66.7%, the other 10 cases accepted operation.

Conclusion

Interventional treatment for ectopic pregnancy guided by ultrasound is a simple and effective method.
