Objective

To analyse and evaluate the status of the application of antibacterials for pediatric pneumonia in our hospital.

Methods

To extract randomly 300 cases leaved hospital of pediatric pneumonia during the period of 2004 — 2006, analyse retrospectively using situation of antibacterials, and evaluate comprehensively medicine plan of antibacterials.

Results

p-lactams, azithromycin, fosfomycin were widely used for pediatric pneumonia treatment in our hospital. Some irrational phenomena about selection and usage of antibacterials still existed.

Conclusion

Experimentical treatment of antibacterials is still main therapeutical method for pediatric pneumonia in our hospital. The level of rational using of antibacterials wait for improvement.
