由于子宫肌瘤(UM)的血供主要来自于子宫动脉(UA),因此对UA进行阻断,理论上可使UM的生长受到抑制。自2000年有学者首次报道利用腹腔镜下子宫动脉阻断(LUAO)治疗UM以来,该术式因其安全、有效及微创等优点,而在临床上得到广泛应用。近年进一步将LUAO与UM剔除术相结合,不仅扩展了其适应证,也丰富了剔除UM的手术指征。

Theoretically, as the uterine arteries(UA) are the main blood supply of uterine myomas(UM), growth of UM will be inhibited if the UA were occluded. Since the laparoscopic uterine artery occlusion(LUAO) for treatment of UM was first reported in 2000, this technology has been widely used because of safe, effective and minimally invasive. In recent years, it was combined with myomectomy, which was not only expanded the scope of its application, but also enriched the indications of myomectomy.
